Hello. Just signed on tonight. Bought a 2003 swing with 15,900 miles. It is in very good shape. I haven't ridden in years, so I'm starting back. Had a lot of different bikes in my younger days. Pretty impressed with the way the swing handles. Also has a lot of get up and go. I've only added an aftermarket exhaust, but would like to add a power commander. Thanks for the forum. A lot of great info available. If some one could pass on the other items I need to increase the HP I'll purchase them for my scooter. Thanks, T Wayne.

Hello T Wayne. Welcome to the forum. Thanks too for your introduction.

Re your desire for better performance. I would suggest that, first, you change the OEM variator roller weights to Dr Pulley 26gm sliding weights at the time you change the belt. The belt light ("V") comes on at 16000 (or maybe it's 18000) miles, so that belt change job will be coming up soon. Far more bang for the buck than a magic box.

Tim

I initially went with the 26g Dr Pulley sliders and wanted more power on acceleration and installed the 24g sliders and enjoy the added torque upon take off without any loss in MPG. Still getting around 50 miles per gallon. Very happy with the 24g sliders.

Welcome T Wayne to the best SWing site on the net. Lots of friendly people here with lots of info to help. I learned how to put the belt and DR sliders on my 08 SWing.
