Lips for the legs

Hi

I think I read something here about leg extenders that pop right in the footrest on the Swing when you take the old ones off. I am trying to find this link as I was riding to work this morning in about 35 degree weather my upper body is quite warm with just my leather and full shield but my legs act a funnel for the wind into my nether regions . I think this will work because if I pinch my knees against the center console the windflow decreases greatly. So if anyone remembers or knows of other products please let me know.

I should point out that they look like two pathetic pieces of bending plastic when they first turn up, but turn into something much more acceptable and fully functional once they are on the bike.

Honda also sells leg deflectors, but they are only available in europe.

wingnprayer, you sold me, I just ordered a pair and I wouldn't have without a recommendation. BTW is that a Bestem box on the back of your SW?

For $20 they do the job and don't look too out of place. They also have the advantage of being slightly flexible so if you do catch a gate post they won't break. But as I said when they turn up you'll think 'what have I done' until they're on the bike. His instructions aren't instantly understandable either, but after a couple of reads and looking at the bike it will start to make sense.

The box is just the standard Honda one with a couple of Kitchen cabinet handles screwed on for strapping on camping gear.

Thanks Wingnprayer for the link. I just ordered the deflectors. As to the other two after reading what I wrote I have to say your right . I meant to put lip deflector....Would not want to get black listed here for that....

Have not had time to mount them yet. Getting ready to go to Vilseck,Germany to see my middle son before he gets deploy to Afghanistan in December . Will post here when I get the chance to put them on..
