| Hey fellows,
Just finished my second ride of the season here in Saskatoon Sk Canada. We're lucky here with our weather (+19 C today), and no snow. Stored my 2009 Wing in an unheated garage all winter, with the battery tender connected. There was no question about it starting right away, although I was surprised that there was a fair bit of exhaust 'smoke' for several minutes until it was fully warmed up. I elected to install a new Yuasa YTZ14s battery to replace the original. Amazing how much more energetically the starter spins over now. Checked all systems and went out for a good 1.5 hr ride.
I had forgotten how squirrely the OEM tires are when riding. There is not much wear on them (total of 13700km) and the back is still quite round. Wish there was a tire that provided a much better feel where the bike tracks more true. I am sure there a more experienced riders here who will offer suggestions on tires. With a rain shower on the way home today, the Givi 214 windshield proved a godsend. Between that and the Honda leg shields, I was perfectly dry all the way home, even at 110kmh.
Hope to meet up with other Saskatchewan Silverwing riders this year to share tall tales with.
Cheers: Reg |

| My 2nd ride of 2017 happens today. The first was on Jan 13th. Check your tires for date code, and sidewall cracks, if they are the ones that came with the bike. You may be surprised with what you see. 5 or 6 year shelf life on these. I like the Michelin Power Pure as a replacement. Huge difference! We get your warm weather on Tuesday! Looking forward to it.
Be safe & have fun! |

| You guys got a great start this season. I am still waiting on my seller to produce the registration so I can transfer ownership. That's about to happen on Monday, if she shows up. Maxaryaman2004, I am interested in the leg shields, but the only ones are from UK. Did you get yours locally? Jay. |

| cotetoi,
I purchased my shields from a dealer in the UK, by the name of Doble Motorcycles. Go to www.doble.co.uk. I dealt with Paul Styles who even mailed me a VAT invoice so that I could apply for a VAT refund (18% of the purchase price). I highly recommend them, as they were fast, professional, and responsive to emails. They were about $125.00 CDN funds, delivered. Very easy to install, if you took time to read the instructions, and then give the adhesive a day to 'cure'. They really work very well, especially if there is rain.

| No I do not. You will also find that in general, the part numbers differ from country to country.
Sorry. |
