| Have now owned and ridden the scooter two weeks and 500 miles. Things I like are: 1) easy to touch ground at stop lights 2) no air cooled engine heat 3) quiet 4)storage space 5)great back support 6)no hip pain after long rides 7)handles well in curves 8)runs on regular gas 9)no chrome to polish 10)it's a Honda |

| I have a Gwing also and the things I appreciate about the Swing are:
1). Much more versatile.
2). Lighter, can use my body to control the bike.
3). When touring (mostly locally) the SWing will be me into places that I wouldn't ordinarily go with the GWing. Bull in a china shop kind of thing.
4). Will creep, when I want it to creep along. No loss of balance trying to maneuver a big heavy bike. Along with that, great acceleration when I want it.
5). Cooler. Not so much engine heat.
6). Less effort to ride. Automatic.
7). Not so much cramping as with a standard bike. |

| I have a Goldwing too. Popular theme here.
I like the under seat storage and the kick butt ride. It can sneak up on most of those cruiser V twins and kick their butt.
I like the 50+ mpg and the fact that it runs on regular fuel.
The step through design: priceless.

| Yes indeed, they are great. I've owned just all the different Goldwing models over the years, from the 1000-1800. Great touring bikes but a lot of work in traffic and parking lots compared to the CVT scooters. At my advancing age it took me a while to sell the last big wing and go maxi scooter but it turned out to be a lot smaller sacrifice than I thought. I don't currently have a Silverwing, I've had two in the past but might find a good deal around here one of these days to add a mate to my GT. |

| I never dreamed I would ride a scooter, but, because of back problems, couldn't ride bikes anymore, I got a Burgman400 an older second hand bike. I convinced myself it was really a motorcycle with a scooter frame, I still have it. The Silver wing (my second) is a joy to ride, lively acceleration, smooth cruising, happy in the bends and easy to maintain. Whenever I park up and walk away usually, before long, people start to look at it, to the annoyance of my son in law on his Yamaha 1300 that he constantly polishes, why always your bike they look at he says because it's different I tell him.

| After many years on smokey fun filled times on loud knee dragging fast two strokes I was told to buy a cruiser, a PC800 ended up with me and I hated it !!, saw an advert for a Silverwing 400, Jap model 2002 with 13.000 k's on the clock and untidy paint job being an ex city commuter, and thought, why not give it a try, Well I must say that Ive done more miles in a short time that I ever thought possible, very flickable (after fitting new Metzlers), and good protection with the new Givi screen (never had one of those before), and absolutely effortless to ride with OK fuel economy. Can also give those big cruisers a run for their money and I very much like the lack of noise !! Now can someone please point me into the right direction for information for the 2009 600 GT model available for sale please. Thank you. Pete |

| I bought a second one after losing my 2005 in a crash. I want to try as many models of Honda motorcycles as I can and didn't think I'd go a second SWing, but I did. I don't regret it. Jay |

| Things I like about my Swing, 1. Pisses off my $30K Harley Buddies I can keep up with them on my 04 Swing. 2. No left wrist or hand pain. 3. Easy to ride, park and just get around. 4. Wife started riding with me again because it is comfortable. 5. Nothing needs polishing, paint faded, and no cleaning. 6. Police don't even look at me twice. |

| Love all the responses. I wish Honda would come up with a 32000 mile drive belt. Other that that it rocks. Murf your right, HD guys are amazed. Lots of others too. |
