| Hi All, When I first bought my Swing in August, I made plans to go camping or head out on a long road trip. I noticed that getting all my camping gear attached to my new scooter was just about impossible. Their was no positive attaching points for bungee cords. I put on my thinking cap and came up with this fastening system: If you would like to have one of these for your SilverWing, let me know thru this forum. Thank You and ride safe, DennisB :D

| Dennis......That's a pretty neat set-up. If I didn't already have a Top Box I would be interested in one. |

| Dennis,
This might work as a stable mount for smaller flags. Kim and I ride with the Patriot guard and have been trying to come up with a flag mounting system.
You also have enough room in between the retaining pins to mount a brake light. |

| Hi Dale, You have a inventive mind and that's a good thing. Well hear it is....this cargo mounting system was designed to have all the holding force to be pulled from the top and not pulled to the bottom. A person can pull up on it all day and it will not give way. You might be abel to put a piece over the spoiler top and attach it to the removable end pieces. Now that would work. I do like the extra brake light idea, now that's some good thinking. Dennis :D P.S. This mount would work great with small flags.

| High Dale, I will design a flag mount for you and post some pictures when I get it done. There will be a test period needed for this design. I was going to use two 8" x 12" American flags in this design.
This is for all those that want to fly Old Glory off the back of their scooters. This will look good.
Thank You...Dennis

| This cargo attaching system works great for securing just about anything to the back seat area of the SilverWing.
Any questions....please ask.

| A few well placed nylon cable ties will work fairly well. These may be used to anchor bungee hooks.

| I do not trust nylon tie straps. They are great for holding wire cable assemblies to structure or frame. But that's it. Be safe...not sorry!

| Here's one solution for those of you with top boxes. They are kitchen door cabinet handles found on Ebay for a few dollars. http://picasaweb.google.com/bmwc1photos/Silverwing# |

| Well... This was not on my standard manufacturing item list. I have 2 more people interested in this system. When I get 4 more I will buy the parts to create this item again. Price would be $55.00 and you would need to purchase your own 1/4" eye bolts, Nuts, and bungee or compression straps. Shipping would be around $5.00 for the US and international shipping would need to be looked at. There you go... If your interested let me know and I'll put your name on the list. |

| Dennis,
I have to give you an A+ on creativity and design. I wish you were my neighbor!
Are you still making the electric adapter that will allow me to hook up a trailer wiring harness to the SW?
