Just ordered a Shark 6160 250 watt FM 2 speaker . Ordered Xtra antena to go with it .You can program a SD card or connect MP3 player. There is a good report from big cruisers that have put them in . It came with a free head set .Total cost delivered to the door, $150.00. Has anyone have this system on a Swing? Sales Shark Motorcycle.com

| Hello from North Florida. I put that system on my Swing about 6 months ago. I have loved it ever since. Great sound for a good price. It is a chore to put it on though. I didn't get the extra antenna. The radio is pretty useless without it. Let me know if it works for you. I just use mine with the ipod. Enjoy!

I was thinking of using a SD card instead of a MP3.If it don't work ,I will go for a MP3 player.

Can anyone post pictures of where they installed the speakers. I had a very similar one on my motorcycle but sold it with it. It was great, I have good fm reception and I would plug my iphone ipod into it and the sound was awesome. I just bought one again which came in today for the scooter. Only difference I went with the black speakers instead of chrome. The chrome use to blind me when the sun hit it while riding. I'm waiting for my heated grips to come in then I have a mechanic that is going to install it for me as well as the radio as I'm useless when it comes to putting things together and don't want to risk doing it wrong. As the swings handlebars are different than what I had on the motorcycle just wondering where people have installed the speakers and what it looks like done? I use to keep a small windshield bag on my motorcycle to keep the audio box right in the middle of the two speakers but I think this time the audio box will have to go in the locked glove box, just not sure how the wiring will be doing it this way.

I have not received my sound system yet. I should get it by the end of the week. Looking at my service manual, the best place for the 250 w system, would be in the left or right glove box . For me the right side would be just room to fit the amp. As for the speakers Im thing to fit them on the covers using a good sticky tape to hold the brackets or fit them on the inner cover / floor upper cover . I mite have to removed both to conceal the wires coming from the battery. A good time to run my heater grip wire at the same time and a 12v plug. Some tupperware will have to be removed in order in doing a nice looking fit.
