| Hi,
I came across this for a new "Adjustable" Givi screen which really looks nice. They don't have a picture for the Silver Wing 400 & 600 but they do have one for the SW-T 400, which is probably like what the screen will look like for the SWing. If it is anything like the picture for the below screen I will be getting one. I think I saw a price for one of the screens for $269.

| Takes the Laminar Lip and Ears idea to another level: much larger ears from the looks of it, and much more flexibility in positioning of the windshield.
Don't know that I'd get one (?), but it's an interesting idea. |

| Jeff, I like the concept and would be interested in it if it functions well. I still have the lower stock windshield. If you were real good this year maybe Dennis can drop one off on his Christmas rounds....Merry CHRISTmas. Dick |

| If that had been available when I was shopping for windshields a year ago, I think I would have tried it. Looks pretty slick to me. Maybe if something happens to my current unit I'll look into it since I still have my original shield. Hey I just noticed... I've been on this site for exactly one year now Isn't that wonderful ?? Oh well, too much spare time again... Have a Happy New Year everyone |

| Yes, it does look like it would be pretty nice. I like the Laminar Lip I made for my 2005 Swing out of an old discarded wind shield that had been cracked. I cut it with my band saw and sanded the edges and took my butane torch heated and sealed the edges. It is held on with two industrial strength Velcro. I put two of the steel spring loaded clips on just to make sure it does not release at high speeds or wind gusts. Looks good to me.....You can see pictures of it in my "Album" pictures on this Forum. By the way, it didn't cost very much and is adjustable up and down. Merry Christmas 2009 and may God bless each of you in 2010. "Old Dave" in Western Nebraska. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold..and snowy. |

| Looks like a great solution to me. I've tried the home brew laminar lip and liked it. But this looks like a better permanent solution. I'm game for one. |
