Return from vacations.

Hey there. I just got back from 4 weeks of vacations in Pays Basque and Portugal. I must say I was very surprised at the number of motorcycles on the roads ! Not half as many as I expected; but the weather was very warm, probably too warm, for riding. I was pleasantly surprised by the Portuguese roads. They appear wider than my last visit 25 years ago. They are perfect for motorcycles , specially in the deep valleys of the Douro and Minho rivers around Porto. With few exceptions the roads I saw were regular paved roads; the old Roman stone paved roads are slowly disappearing. I would not want to be on those smooth stones if they are wet ! A great country to visit and enjoy better prices than Spain or France!
