| Hi All,
I'm parting ways with my Silverwing. It had a bad fall off a jack. Most of the plastics are cracked or scratched, and the final drive case is leaking gear oil, but everything else works. I've decided to stop investing money in a scooter that looks like I dragged it down the streets. I'm buying a KLR 650
A few highlights:
Front Forks rebuilt this May Malossi Exhaust (0 miles on it, installed after the fall before I decided to give up) and original exhaust Wind Rider slip on seat cover, never used (original seat cover has 2 cracks) New right grip/throttle this year One new master cylinder this year (can't remember right or left) Multiple brake levers, several lefts, one perfect right, one bent right New hydraulic lift for seat this May Diablo Rossi tires front and rear with 120 miles on them New front and rear brake pads with 120 miles on them New spark plugs and ignition wires.
Let me know if you want a part and how much you would like to pay for it, and I will send you pictures of the part and a shipping cost estimate.
I'm only a shade tree mechanic and manage full time work and two kids. Please be patient with me and I'll try to get you parts you need cheap. Payment via Venmo please.

| Hi. When I recently purchased my SW, part of the starter button was broke off. It works fine, and is not really noticeable, but I am concerned about (additional (?) exposure to the elements. Are you willing to sell your right side switch cluster for $40 + s/h? |

| I've got an 01 fjs600. Don't suppose your throttle position sensor would happen to fit mine would it? Shipping would be to Christchurch, New Zealand. |

Rob The original windscreen is intact. I had an aftermarket on when it fell. It's gotten a bit cloudy over the years and probably could use a good pass with a headlight restorer compound. The seat cover is still available. When I get home tonight I will send you pics of both. Are you in the US or elsewhere? |

| I ripped the driver's back support part of my seat. This part of the seat is independent of the rest of the seat. Can someone tell me where I can buy the cover for this part of the seat only. Shown in picture below. Thank you Indy 111 |

| Sadly mine also has a tear in it.
You can order it new from a parts site, try eBay, or remove it and have an upholstery shop repair or replace it. Or I taped mine over and then bought an aftermarket seat cover to hide the tape. |

| Hi-this thread is a couple months old, I know, but wondering if you still have the original exhaust. I'd be interested in buying it. No idea the value, let me know what you'd want for it pls?
Cheers

Yep! Lots of parts still available including the exhaust. PMed you. The plastic "chrome" covers for the exhaust were scraped and cracking, so I tossed them, but I do still have the original exhaust system itself. |

Thank you Indy 111 Indy111: I found that I was able to get a cheaper price by taking my 2003 swing to a leather upholstery shop. Good job on him. That was in the Elgin, IL area. I've stopped riding since then and am about to sell my '03. It's time to let it go. I've had a couple of heart attacks so it bothers me to worry about keeping the dirty side down. Good luck in your search. :-) |
