I am putting my 2013 Silverwing 600 ABS up for sale with local pickup here in DFW Texas.

Now why am i selling my wing? My wife for 22 wedding anniversary / fathers day bough me a brand new 2018 Honda CTX700 DCT, and simply put it is not fair to the wing to just let her sit with as good of a bike as she is.

Nicely decorated.

Probably one of the few good replacements for the SWing is any Honda DCT.

I picked up a 2016 DCT with 191 miles on the clock a couple months ago. No regrets yet.
Still have the silver wing.

Good luck with that price. Unfortunately, it's market pricing not bank note pricing that rules.

One of the problems with selling a bike is that the upgrades and accessories don't usually add much if anything to the basic bike's selling price. I've spent a pretty good bit on accessories on some of the bikes I've owned and when I sold them I didn't recover any of the money I spent on them. I just consider those kind of things on my bikes as something I want and like and don't expect any gain from them.

It's too bad that scooters aren't more popular in this country. It looks like I've got a buyer on my '13 C650GT with 11,000 miles on it for a bit less than $4000. Not too good for a bike that cost $11,000 six years ago. I bought it used in 2014 with 69 miles on it for $6000 so it lost a lot of value for the first owner too.

I did a LOT better selling my last Goldwing.

accessories add nothing to the market value value of used bikes/scooter. fair price leftover 2013 used probably $3-4000 dollars.

When I got rid of my Silver Wing last year for the new Forza, the dealership were pleased I could return it back how I bought it new in late 2010. So I swapped the Airflow back to the almost new looking OE screen, took off the DennisB  sat nav mount, and removed the fork protectors. The dealer fitted accessories I'd ordered from new like the Honda heated grips, lower leg wind deflectors, and a Givi rear rack stayed on.

Fitting a non standard silencer with a big logo stamped on it, leaving one of my two Givi top boxes on, or saying I'd fitted Dr Pulley bits and Hyperpro fork springs wouldn't have added any value at all.

Extras only add value to the dealer's selling price but not to your trade in value as Mr Grinsel rightly says !
