| Hello,
New to the forum,
I am looking around locally looking for a 2012-2013 silverwing.
Only thing I dont like about the 2012-2013 swings is they are Black Only.

| Your dealer should be able to check with Honda to see if any in Warehouse someplace in US----I would rather get one in crate over one that has sat on showroom floor for year or two. |

| I bought my 2012 at Interstate Honda for what I thought was a good deal (of course it was 2012!) - they seem to have a leftover for $7500. Colorado is probably a long ways for you to purchase a scooter, but if they have them up here, I suspect they have them somewhere closer. However, even if you had to ship it, it would probably be worth it.

What's wrong with a bike sitting on a showroom floor? PDI will have been done on it, which would hopefully involve charging the battery, inflating the tires properly, and having run the engine during inspection. That would redistribute oil over any internal parts. I'd rather have had the PDI done than have a bike sitting in a crate with a dead battery. The other issue is environment. Many crated bikes are stored in warehouses that have no climate control. I'd rather have a bike sitting in a constant temp, low humidity showroom than a building with wild temp and humidity fluctuations. |

| Better in crate from Honda----on dealer's floor Floor Plan interest being paid by dealer---makes end selling price more in some cases. End price also matters to me. |

| I hear they also come in black . While on this topic I know there is a 13 for sale at Western Honda in Scottsdale, Az. Ask for John, the price is good. His price is better than the discount on the website. Years ago I had my Goldwing frame welded there during the 05 recall. They were cheerful etc. |

| The longer they sit in a showroom, the deeper the discount would be. This works both with new and used bikes. I just bought a 06 SWing with 5500 miles that was traded in to the dealer 6 months ago. It is in great condition, and the dealer wanted $4K for it OTD six months ago. After 6 months of looking at it I told them that I'll take it off their showroom floor for $2.5K OTD including Taxes, Title and Registration. I now own it for pretty much the trade in value. |

| I was talking new bikes sitting on dealer floor----probably on Honda floor plan that costs dealer money---most do not want to move bike at loss.....but what do I know.....I have bought over 75 new ones!!. Bikes they take in trade/consignment they may have more leeway. |

| I would be willing to swap my pristine 2007 body panels (dark silver metallic) for your black body panels that nobody but me seems to like. Thanks, OH |

| I love black motorcycles but would prefer a choice! This is not a Model T after all Day-Glo green would be great for visibility! But cages still probably would not see us |

| SilverWing I like model T----they do not make them anymore for at least US market. Color choice would make them even more expensive |
