| Hi all,
Not long ago I joint your forum in anticipation of buying a Silverwing. I have one now for about a week and I like it. It is actually for my wife, but I have to say that I like her also. I ride a FJR. She has done about 44,000 miles, has some cosmetic marks but look okay and rides really well. I'll be asking some questions because I'm getting to know her and I found some small things.

| Welcome Martin,
Congrats on your SWing and hope you enjoy it. My wife is from Holland and you have some really nice scenery there. She is from the Allkmaar and Aphen aan den Rijn. I hope you are active with the forum and maybe post some pics of your SWing and also the countryside of Holland. Again, Welcome. |

| It so happens that I came across two couples from Holland who were visiting Portugal. Very friendly folks, and no hesitation in engaging in chit chat. I am sure you'll enjoy your SWing, Martin. My 2007 is a sweet ride. Welcome from New Brunswick, Canada. Jay. |

| Hello Martin,
Welcome, from Nova Scotia. Jay and I are practically neighbors! But Jay is closer than I am to the location of the April 8 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Lucky Jay !

| Hey, Mike, I am hoping I'll be here to see it. Apparently the eclipse will track from the bottom end of the US, in Texas clear across to Maine, and eventually into Nova Scotia. We will be in the path of total eclipse. We'll have to compare notes afterwards !!!!! Jay. |

| I'm scouting out locations early Jay. Thinking of having the Hartland Covered Bridge in the background is one in mind for totality, and Crabbe Mtn is another. Hartland had about 20 seconds more totality. I think Woodstock's totality is a bit longer than both. But if a "good" ski winter, here's hoping Crabbe may be still open to make it a ski - eclipse trip. Moncton is outside of totality as is Nova Scotia. It is an NB and Western end of PEI event in our part of the world. And with a sun low in the late afternoon sky too. And ... sure - you will be here to see it. Just ride with care !!
