Are those reflectors or lights on the fenders? How's she ride?

Those are reflectors. With the Ride On in the tires, it is very smooth riding, in fact, my wife fell asleep for a few moments last week.

That really looks nice!!!

How does it affect the handling and power? Has your mileage suffered much?

Handeling is better since I put a 4.5 rake kit on and the Ride On in the tires, I wish I knew about this stuff long ago....even though the handeling is better, it is A DIFFERENT KIND of better, meaning, you have to push,pull the steering instead of leaning...it is hard to discribe unless you have driven a trike or an ATV...as far as the mileage goes, I lost 10 MPG ! THE bottom line....with the Swing 2 wheels we both enjoyed the ride...with the trike conversion WE LOVE THE RIDE. Sorry it took so long to chime back...but, We can't stay off the thing!

One more thing I forgot...the power....it is slower on the take off, but, maintains proper RPM once usual speed is obtained.

So now I'm thinking that with only 28,xxx miles on my SWing this might be worth looking into.

I had 17,300 when I installed mine....the last 2 weeks I have put on over 700 miles. Motor Trike will only allow a dealer who has been to their school to put it on. I do not know how local you will be able to find such a dealer....My total cost from start to finish tax and all was $8,148.00. My Swing was just appraised at $15,000.00. Good luck in your possible future kit. Remember it is Motor Trike GT3 kit.

Sorry, $8000.00 total, I had them also put in a new battery, plugs and rollers which cost me a little more.

Just an update on mine.

I ordered a Motor Trike kit for my 08 SWing and stopped in at Besser's Bike Barn today (11-15-17) just to see how it's going. Warren told me that they would/should be delivering it next week. He said he'd call the day before and set up a time. Now all I have to do is hope for a couple of fairly warm days so I can take it out for a short spin. Can't let it sit in the garage all winter by itself...

I'll post some pics once I get it. It will probably be in my messy garage so just disregard the junk in the photos.

I know what the anticipation is like......but remember, it will be a whole new ball game in riding...be very careful on your first few attempts....and go slow. Good luck Dale and welcome to a new riding experience that with time you will fully enjoy

What kind of tires are they? Size? Car tires or scooter?

It seems that you will have it much easier to replace the rear tires. Bolt off, bolt on. Go ride.

Get a set of snow tires and extend your riding season to year round. Of course, you probably don't get much snow in Asheville, NC.

If it snows I dont ride, usually because of thr brine on the road. They are 14 in. car tires.
