Christmas came today, ready to ride New Hi Vis KT-Armor mesh with liner if I fall down in the snow at least they should be able to find me. One small problem are the temps, it WARMED to 12 deg F. today, negative temps expected for tomorrow WITHOUT the wind chill factor.

Yep, HiViz should help today, even if you are legging it anywhere. We are in the grip of a fast moving snow-rain-sleet-freezing rain storm. A true smorgasbord of nasty winter weather. Behind this mess is an Arctic blast that will freeze the proverbial snowballs into real hard nuts. One good thing is that if it starts early then the winter will go early too. My earliest date was March 12, and my riding test was April1; so there is always hope for these dates to beaten. Take care, and best be seen, on or off the saddle ! Jay.

| Here's hoping your winter season is a short one. Happy New Years to all. Here in Hawaii, temps should be in the low to mid 80's. Clear blue skies. Went for a 50 mile ride yesterday morning with temps in the mid 70's. Later it got to around 82 degrees Diamond Head is to the right of the furthest light pole.

It's in the low to mid 40s here in North Florida. My wife said we are going to ride this weekend come hell or high water. Suppose to be in the high 50s this weekend. Low 70s this coming Monday. Wish us luck snowbirds. Suckers. You know I only poke fun.

I believe we sent you a few flakes from up North this week, docjones. But I don't begrudge you your balmy Florida weather. 40's would still be a bit cold for me, but if you are geared up for it then you should enjoy your ride. Have fun, and if your honey goes with you, so much sweeter. We had quite a wintry blast here on the Bay of Fundy. But this weekend it will be -30C here with the windchill ! I am doing all my riding on Youtube. Jay.
