| Wingjammers Silverwing at the Lakes District in UK.
Note the aftermarket muffler (silencer) and gear rack on the rear panel.

| Nice Photo. Wish it was as warm here as it looks in the picture.
Beautiful scenery too. |

| I'm in a thinking mood today, as the OP is from flat as a pancake Licolnshire, will Cumbria be like an Alpine region to him. , Then the photo, my guess is it was taken somewhere around Buttermere, but having lived on the edge of the Lake District National Park for nearly forty years everywhere tends to look the same at certain times of the year, and that road would be busy with cars full of walkers and gawkers. Finally I'm thinking that's a weird place to mount a rear rack, and something like a lightweight tent on there would obscure the rear lights, brake lights, and indicators. That's enough thinking for today. |

| I keep thinking & thinking too, but nothing happens.
Thank you for sharing your location insight, Meldrew.
That photo sure looks inviting as we on the east coast are sitting here in a deep freeze. Florida...snow? Sheesh.

| I'm thinking that this is a beautiful pic of Wingjammers's Silver Wing! I empathize for those living on the east coast of the US and parts of Europe as they are experiencing a remarkably cold winter spell.
I wish safe rides to all who can today!

| Wow. Very beautiful picture. Yesterday I started my Swing and warmed it up until cooler fan start. At the same time, I dreamed about the coming summer. This picture is like throwing a gas into flames. I canĀ“t wait. |

| Brilliant pic. I was thinking it looks like the Lakes... and it is. It's only about 30 miles from here in distance, but about 4 months in temperature - I don't do riding in snow, sleet and ice! I'm bored of winter, can I have summer now please :-)
Thanks for sharing. |

Lincolnshire's a bit lumpy where I live, tends to be flatter down south of the county. Then again, if I lived where the OP lives, (Scunthorpe), anywhere would seem lovely |

| No snow in North Florida so yes we went for a short ride yesterday. Maybe we will again today because the high will be 58 degrees Fahrenheit. We do bundle up because after all we are Floridians and are deathly afraid of the cold. |

| Beautiful picture !
My wife and I and some friends visited Windermere in the Lake District back in 1994. We had been to the Blackpool Dance Festival and then toured more of the area and London as well.

| Since Wingjammer hasn't signed on since September 2016, the exact location of his photo is still a mystery. I still think it's somewhere in the Western Lake District. |

| Thanks, the B5289 road runs alongside both Buttermere and Crummock Water and the photo looks familiar because I used to live and work in that part of Cumbria probably not more than 10 miles away.
In fact Mrs M and myself were in the area and walked round another stretch of water round there called Loweswater one day last November. |
