Help fuse keeps blowing Empty
PostSubject: Help fuse keeps blowing   Help fuse keeps blowing I_icon_minitimeMon Jun 11, 2018 4:41 pm

Ok ive checked my wiring i cant see any short or burn marks in wiring the circuit ive inspected as much as i can see, ive removed the back and panels exposing most of the wiring,

this was after i replaced the seals and bearings in the final drive, drove it 3 days and now this 10 amp fuse for the horn, tail lights, dash lites keeps blowing as soon as i turn egition on, theirs a direct short somewhere.

the engine will start and run, this circuit is for tail lights dash lights and horn.

also does anyone know if the clutch assembly can make a nose like something is loose in it, can hear it louder when get off the gas.

This happened to me. There are a couple of very small gage wires that run over the belt housing. There's a tiny keeper for them on top of the housing. When you put the belt housing back on, those wires got in there and are pinched.

Let me know if that works.

Can't help with the clutch though...sorry.

It's not a bad design, it's us not paying attention to detail.

I am now VERY careful when going into my Swing. No extra hardware allowed on reassembly.
