Looking for 7811 ST HO SWT 400/600 (Fehling - Side Case Holder for Givi/Kappa (Monokey) Case) New or Old

Everyone I am looking for the Side Case Holder for Givi/Kappa (Monokey) Case by Fehling with the following part number 7811 ST HO SWT 400/600. I am intrested in new or old just would like to put sidecases on my silverwing.

Well that's easy enough, go to www.fehling.de , change the language to English, then Motorcycles, Honda, and they're the second model featured.

Are you aware though that the SW-T Silver Wing is an updated version of the FSC/FJS Silver Wing, a model that was available in Europe from 2009 to 2017 and never imported to the US or UK. The pannier rails will probably fit your FSC, but I'd check with Fehling before ordering them.

Meldrew. I did as you instructed. The pic only shows the right side of the scooter with the right side case holder. However, the description does say "pair" in the price list area. Do you know, for a fact, that there are both left and right side holders available to fasten side cases? Ta.

Did you notice everything Fehling sell is either a listed as a 'piece' or a 'pair'.

I have sent a request for info to Fehling and I did that before I even posted to the fourm. Additionally I am open to the used one as it is a single wrap around peace for the silverwing, and it is possible that someone here in the states may have one or know where to locate one.

It would be great of you could post up Fehling's response Junior.

Note that I ordered this item from Fehling but although their website says that it fits Monokey cases they don't tell you that it's only specific Monokey cases. In my case I ordered the V35 from Givi and they don't fit. I called Givi and they suggested the E-22, E-360 but I'm not happy. I found out from Fehling after the fact that they don't make a carrier for the V-35. They should've said this on their website instead of just saying Monokey cases.

First Givi,,,go back to basics---they make two type, Monokey and Monolock, you need to get bag that wil fit rack you can get.


SilverWing probably does not need hard sit cases....Ortlieb throw over waterproof should work well, underseat storage, hump bag (Givi) and in my case 2 rubber Ortlieb bags. More than anybody needs.

I am COMPLETELY aware that Givi makes Monokey and Monolock as I have purchased a top case from them before and have it on my SW. BTW it's Monokey. Which is why I made certain that the rack I was buying from Fehling specifically stated that it was for MONOKEY. Now that I have made that point clear, let me add that whether or not I or anyone needs hard cases is really a matter of preference, and not of opinion. So your comment adds nothing to this discussion but vitriole.

How about safety?? Adding weight behind rear axle center, probably does noting for handling.

I’m looking for some statistics to back this safety concern of yours or is this just your opinion...again? This discussion began with someone asking about the very item that I purchased from Fehling my intent was to provide helpful information. I’m not sure WHAT your intent is.

Sorry---but adding weight behind rear axle center, does nothing for handling on already tail heavy machine....in my world.

Sorry to hear you got the wrong cases. The v35 are great panniers but do need the special tucked in rails. They worked brilliantly on my old tdm900 and if fittings where available they would most likely work well on the sw's fat arse!
If you are any good at welding / fabricating it shouldn't be too difficult to make something one-off.
There is a shortage of hard cases for maxi scooters. Most likely not enough buyers and folks assume with a topbox and underseat cavern there is enough space, there is for solo touring but two up is a challenge.

I contacted a metal fabricator and sent pics of what I have and what I need, and I'm waiting for a price.

For the times the vast majority of Silver Wing owners do any two up touring, a pair of soft panniers/saddlebags and maybe a tunnel bag are more than adequate to supplement the underseat storage and a large top box.

I've toured with Mrs M a number of times using those Givi bags mentioned on my signature. I first used them on a 650 Burgman after extending the straps because of the lardy Burgman's wide seat. I've also used them on my Silver Wing and they were more than sufficient, in fact I've never had to zip the soft panniers out from 15 litres to 25 litres.

Now that Mrs M's lost interest in Euro touring, the underseat, top box, and an Ortlieb bag for the return trip are more than enough carrying capacity to meet my needs. I've stopped using the tunnel bag too, clambering over it to get on and off the Silver Wing, and having to remove and refit it after filling up just became a hassle.

As for hard panniers I've seen a few maxi scooters fitted with them, and they're usually the small top opening 22 litre Givi or Kappa ones. I've seen plenty of those Fehling pannier rails and other cosmetic chrome tat on maxi scooters too, German riders seem have a penchant for them.

Ok everyone here is an update on the Fehling 7811 Side Case Holders.

1. They can still be ordered by you will have to wait as they only run production at certain times a year. I ordered from here: https://www.euronetbike.net/fehling-7811-st.html

2. It took them August 2 (Order Placed) to October 18 (Order Delivered)

3. They will fit the 2013 Honda Silverwing ABS but note the clearance for the key hole for the under seat trunk is pretty tight. I highly recommend you get a second key made that does not have the black shroud as it proves painful but I have a key that does not have the shroud and it works fine.

Total Cost with Internal Shipping was 216.54
