| Nice! The GF's S'Wing is still in the shop waiting on insurance, but I got her out on her old 150 for a couple of hours around town. We got home about 5 minutes before the showers got here. |

| In the 60's, I rode my Suzuki T500 from Las Cruces NM to Gunnerson CO during my spring break. Slept in a laundromat in Durango. Had to stop at a ski lodge to warm up. Did not have the correct gear for cold riding. It was in the high 80's when I left Las Cruces. Crazy Hawaiian LOL! |

| Here in the UK we are having a heatwave, temperatures in the 80/90 , been like that for two weeks and set to be like that for another week. How people in Florida and Arizona ride in these temperatures is amazing. I' ve be been out riding and it is very uncomfortable. We are used to getting wet and battling the wind, so our riding gear is for those conditions. I see people riding in tee shirts and shorts, but I would never ride without protective clothing, only helmets are compulsory. |

| In Arizona the trick is to ride early in the morning or late in the evening... If one must ride in the heat of day use a "cool vest". |

| Its hot but not as hot as predicted. Current 96F dew point 68F Feels like 101F if not in the sun. Have 5 days off but its not much better after today.
Cooling vest work if the Humidity is lower but not so much if no evaporation not taking place. I've soaked a T- shirt in cool water that helps for 30 minutes or so. |

| We've hit 100 once already here in Southern OR. Not the official temperature which has been in the high nineties but our two digital thermometers topped 100 in the shade last week. Pretty warm alright, I wear a Tourmaster mesh jacket which actually feels cooler when underway than in shirtsleeves. After all my years on two wheels I just can't bring myself to ride anything less than AGATT. |

| I feel the same don't ride Naked. Joe Rocket mesh jacket with armor padding. Jeans with pads and Kevlar lining. .. Wet shirt under that and go.. Crashed enough dirt bikes to know protection is needed. |

| In 62 years of owning and riding bikes I've had my share of unplanned dismounts and at my current age I don't bounce, just go splat. |

Well described, that's precisely what would happen to me! |

| 113 deg. F heat index here, I took the scoot for a ride but I got stuck in the tar, a friendly Amish man pulled me out with his horse, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. |

| Really hot here as well. Lots of heat "warnings" here. I rode to the local outdoor pool for a swim at noon. Passes one thermometer on an office building which stated 38°C Think I caught a 104°F as it flipped from time to temp. Tomorrow is suppose to be the same. Today I almost abandoned ATGATT. Good thing we have AC on these bikes. |

| Hot and humid here in the centre of Toronto today, about 28°C to 30°C. Still I ate poutine, got my first tattoo, and had dinner with Mrs M in the revolving 360° Restaurant up in the CN Tower. |

| I am incredibly lucky in that I live right on the Bay of Fundy: home to the fog factory. The coastal roads stay bearable during the hottest days of the summer. Cooler islands are only a free ferry ride away.

| It is very hot here today. I went for a short ( 70 miles) ride at 4 pm and took the coastal road. I ran into a fog bank in one of the many small inlets and it felt almost like a freezer: the change was about 10 degrees. I was glad to get back into the 28 C sunshine.

| Hot here, true we expect it to get hot as it is a desert. Even so 111 (unofficial yesterday) is tough to ride in. The soak vest stays wet about 20 min at 65 mph. So its night riding. Tomorrow will be another 110 F day. Ah but wait till winter, then we bragg ! |
