| Newby Silver Wing Owner here, from Southern Illinois. Excuse my delay with introducing myself, but I have been pre-searching, and enjoying, the vast amount of information on this forum. Excellent Silver Wing forum. I recently purchased an 04 Silver Wing, 13k miles, with the Trigg Trike Kit. Loving and learning so much about it. Amazing how it handles and rides so nice, even with 2 up. I am a left leg amputee and the automatic scooter is perfect. Thought my days of riding were over. Today, being July 4th, was a do nothing day so we made it a day of pleasure riding. 128 mile round trip to be exact. Sight-seeing. It just seems to get better every time we are on it. Looking forward to learning much from the forum members. Although I'm not a big question asker, I am more of a seek and find answer type person. Pretty handy with a wrench so not to worried about repairs. Just have to know what repairs to be expecting, when the time arises. Thanks again for the add. Rick |

| Welcome Rick to the BEST SWing site on the net. I have an 08 SWing that I had converted over to a trike over the winter. The more I ride it the more I like it. I've had it for about 5 seasons now but this is the first as a trike. I have the Motor Trike GT3 kit on mine. Mine has just over 30,000 miles on it so I'm good to go for a few more... |

| Thanks, Dale.
That's a sweet setup you have there. I like that GT3 Trike kit as well. I haven't seen many of those around though. Originally I was looking into getting a large trike. But the problem being myself not being able to left foot shift, and I would need modifications on whatever I got, so therefore the Honda Silver Wing was a perfect match, given it's an Automatic. This Silver Wing definitely will give those big boys a run for their money. I am so glad I went his route. And the trike kit just makes it all the more enjoyable. Very happy indeed. |

| Thanks all for the warm welcome greetings. Had another great ride today. Weather was beautiful , albeit, hotter than a witch's brew. Logged another 116 miles on the SW just exploring and enjoying the surrounding towns where I live. It's amazing, how much you miss when traveling by auto. After I got home a well-deserved nap took place. The winds sort of beat the energy out of me at times while riding. Still a great day! |
