100,000th Post

On behalf of JeffR and all of us Mods I would like to express our gratitude to all the forum members who have contributed to making this forum the success it has become.

BTW with this milestone post we have exceeded the post count of the original Yahoo Silverwing forum, from which Jeff spun this forum, by ~25,000 posts.

Thanks Jeff for taking this leap of faith.

I joined this site before I got my 08 SWing because I wanted to do a little research on it and haven't regretted joining or getting my SWing. I check in every day just to see what's new and who's doing what to, or with, their SWing.

It would be an understatement to say I really love this site and the members who comment. I've made it to Guru status but I'm not sure about that. Everything I've learned about working on my SWing I've learned here from others. I might have helped a few people but the "knowledge" I passed on was learned here from someone else passing it on to me.

I especially want to send a big THANKS to JeffR for his pictorials. They have helped me enormously! I also want to thank all the Admins and others who have kept this site up and running.

Thanks. But I have to say that me starting this site was really a fluke. I started it in Dec of 2007..I beleive. And this was the same time that the Silverwing.org site and maxi-scoots.com site went down for a couple of weeks. I really just started this site to store as much knowledge on the SWing as I could. I still can not believe that John, from the .org site, was kind of a dictator with how he ran that site. Dan Spevak (a former mod here) was the main person running it and he was even banned from the site he was the mod for. So I asked him right away to come here.

But this site was a fluke but it did take off. I have to thank all of you for liking it so much. I also have to thank all of the past mods and certainly the current mods for running this site. Tim is really in charge here and I have offered to give the site to him and he can have it if he feels he wants it. If not we will just keep things as they are.

but it is kind of cool to make 100,000 posts. The SWing is a good bike but not as well sold as the Burgman so there are less riders and members. But 100,000 posts is cool.

As for Jay....Tim just informed me that Amazon is sending your new Tesla with over night. (since he is a Amazon Prime member). So you will need 3 kinds of I.D. and 2 passports from 3 different countries. lol

Aside thank you all, sometimes one sentence or a picture clears up a whole problem or makes fixing something so much easier.

WOW that's 11 years. Thanks Jeff. I've only been here for 3 but plan on staying awhile.
