| I was just about to up date my thread where I purchased a malossi kevlar belt a few years back since it's time to replace it again. Best silverwing parts price I found so far is scooterpartsco.com.
It's hard to argue with success, and Malossi has achieved it with this great Variator for the Honda Silverwing. Better acceleration and more power at the wheel. |

| Harrumph... Grumpy ol' git here:
What's wrong with Honda's belt? Partzilla, $115.00, or $150.00 dealer list. |

| Or your local dealer? You never know when you might need him. OEM stuff works better---I speak from over 400,000 miles of rubber band scooters since 1990 (10 new scooters)---I use only OEM, change at maker's recommended interval. Only one broken belt, Pulaski VA with Helix---those days Honda Riders Club came to get me, trucked to friend's garage, I had spare belt, Helix easy to change. |

| I am a cheap skate and a 99 dollar rubber band worked great. But hey, who am I to point out over in Italy they are getting 7.0 sec. 1/4 mile times with Malossi parts on a turbo charged T-max? |

| Fastest thing I own 11.3 125 MPH 1/4 mile. 129 rear wheel horse power 650 LBS. 160 top speed that's fast enough for me. Things go by fast above 120 - mile every 30 seconds.
Ride ON.

| Honda belt every time. Some say it's wise to change stuff before the manufacturers recommendations. I'm with them. My 'V' light came on at 16,000 miles, (I bought the SW at 15,000 miles).
I changed the belt for a Honda one. I'm now at 26,600 miles and I'm changing it next month with another Honda one. The existing belt looks fine to the eye but I'ts nice to know, that when I'm hooning along those European motorways, that the belt will hold out.
Whether the long-suffering lady sitting behind me appreciates it, I'm not sure, but we've developed a new communication system called 'slapnav!...my head hurts

| Key Note: Malossi
Put all this stuff on your Swing and it will consume more fuel then the 180hp V-Max.
