| Talk him out of the dealer prep fees, admin fees and all the crap they add on to widen their profit margin. A soontobe 7 year old bike is 7 years old. Tires, gaskets, fluids, all get old. At least swing for a set of mounted fresh tires, not the 7 yr olds on the bike. If you can get it $6000.00 otd as is , it would be nice.
Jay. |

| Thanks Jay, offered $6000 today, said no. Freight, $240, doc. fees, $179, what a joke. I'll try for a set of tires. |

| There's a few on the local CL here in SE Virginia. Ranging from 2000 up to 4500. And they aren't moving, since they have been there for weeks/months. Point being, I wouldn't be spending that much on a bike that is not popular with the riding crowd unless you are sure you will never, ever want to sell it.
Don't get me wrong, I love riding mine and the utility and reliability are great, but they tough sells. So if you want one, find it for as cheap as you can and dont worry as much about the year or it being "new". |

| Talk him down. I paid $5300 3 years ago plus tax+ title. Still a grand less. Was $4999 $300 prep. Mine had a 12/2012 production date on a 2013 SW. Tires are getting old and is the battery any good.
Now 15,700 miles later still enjoying it. |

| As Mech 1 says this is nearly a 7 year old bike. They WANT it gone. I bought my 2012 new in 2012 so paid a premium but absolutely love the scooter. I would be hard pressed to spend more 5000-5500 OTD. But that is me. |

| I would pay up to $6000 total (tax everything)...if it just came out of box-----setting on sales floor for 6 years or so lowers value for me.
Another thing on left over SilverWings, you had better ride the value out of them as they have little used value right now.
My traded in left over 2013 SilverWing, near 50,000 miles. sat at dealer for a year and finally sold for $3000. |
