| Low miles is nice but does the 08 have abs? Also someone more knowledgable than myself will be in to tell us when Honda added the O2 sensor which significantly increased mileage. |

| Welcome to the forum and glad to have you. I would personally buy the SWing that is in the best shape. If the SWing is taken care of well they will last forever. I have an '07 with 35,000 miles and it still runs great. But keep us informed on which one you like and if you have the money I would suggest just to buy the one is the best shape. I have heard that the '08 and higher get a bit better mpg's so you may want to think of that one too. Tell us what you get and maybe include a pic too. |

| Used with miles are ok if maint done right. Well taken care of SilverWing could go 100,000 miles. But if maint not up-----paying somebody to check valves, replace belt, tires? not cheap.-----best bet look for new left over with ABS----they are out there as SilverWings are not exactly flying off dealer floors right now. |

A dealer here in Phoenix is advertising a NEW 2011 with ABS for $7300 and change. MSRP was $9088 in 2011. |

For a brand new scoot. Wish I had seen it prior to buying my 2012. |

| All things being equal, I think the '06 with 1K miles is your best bet. Miles are miles and they do cause wear and tear. |

| Just another angle, you are looking to buy a bike at the peak of the season. If you can wait it out (I know...I know) you will be able to find a better deal after July, September is even better. Of course this is for us folk in the northern US where riding season is shortened by that frozen white stuff! |

| December is even better when they trying to get rid of last year's leftovers.
2012 might be the last year for the Silverwing |

| There are many kinds of bikes to select from. Which kind you select should rely on where you will be driving and what your objective will be. If you are going to buy a new bike, be sure to thoroughly analyze all of your choices before you choose. |
