A friend of mine has just bought a Swing, we swapped bikes last night on a ride as he said it had a slight wobble on front wheel, sure enough when I rode it I had a very slight wobble between 35 & 40 mph which suggests to me it needs balancing as there are no weights on front wheel at all, shook wheel and bearings seem ok, how would you suggest getting front up in air, bottle or scissor jack with wood on under bike, but not sure of solid part without taking under-skirting off, thank for your help.

Kev

Up on center stand, small jack with a board under the engine lift to get wheel off ground. Somewhere in the search section you will find more., yep in the maintenance section, jacking up s'wing Smile

Other than out of balance, tyre wear (particularly 'scolloping/cupping') can generate wheel wobble
