| That looks very sharp. Definitely gives it a more contemporary look.
Interesting to see this in finished form, as I went so far as to buy the paint, sprayer, mask, etc. to do the same job and decided at the last minute to return everything.
A) I didn't want to deal with the chemicals/spraying and, B) it just felt copacetic to leave a prominent display of silver on a Silver Wing.
Although, musing on that, I wonder why Honda named the bike with a color? You wouldn't name a car the Black Camry and then have red and green models, would you?
And ... I just realized the answer in thinking about the Gold Wing. It signifies value -- gold and silver -- not color.

| Honda did make one that was all black metalwork but it was a Japanese only model (600s). I seen one on eBay which gave me the idea. As they have turned out so well I’m going to do the front forks next. |
