Not dog pee as it's oily, looked all underneath as I have side panel off as well and cant see where it's come from. Shocks are clean and dry, Brake hoses are dry also !!

| There is a crankcase breather hose that exits out of the left side next to the center stand. The hose is clear and should be plugged. It is purposely clear so that you can see if deposits are present and can be cleaned by removing the plug. Maybe the plug is missing. There is another hose that exits out the lower right side plastic through a hole. This hose is black rubber hose for the coolant overflow. The hose is not plugged. Maybe someone didn't put back the hose through the plastic and coolant overflow is leaking into the frame of your bike.
Could be antifreeze from the overflow. Antifreeze has some oiling properties. Check the reserve tank level when engine has warmed up. |

Easy Many thanks for that information, those are the only two thing's I did not check. Update: Checked both hoses and are in situ and left hand one still has bung in, have cleaned the area's contaminated and will take out for a ride later and re check............................ The mystery goes on !!!

Strange indeed, no radiating pattern looks more like it was splashed on somehow. Follow the " oil " forward to see where it stops.

Oldwingguy Indeed strange, only goes as far as the end of the Belt/Final drive cover, no further than that. I am not so sure if I rode over some sort of oil on the ride back as it has the pattern of flicking up from tyre to the surrounding area !!!

That or you have someone messing with you, we did that a time or 2 with our GW friends, putting just a wee bit of used oil under the bike.

I WILL FIND THEM, AND I WILL............... Just had a nice little 10 mile ride (longer than the other day when I rode it and discovered the mess), used loads of breaks, slow, normal & fast speeds, engine up to temp before setting off. No mess at all, so it looks like someone is trying to Pi$$ me off or the Treacle fairy wants some attention

Goonerkev, I had the same thing happen on two of my previous bikes ; on left side also. After much looking at bike I figured nothing but road slop.

Oh I forgot to mention-hydraulic fluid spill from garbage trucks, tractors and dumpsters. It can be hard to notice while riding especially on gravely roads
