VIN number location

Hi. I have recently bought Honda silverwing 2009 model fjs600 a-7. I am originally from Yorkshire and trying to register the bike in southern Ireland. The problem I am having is locating the Vin number whick is stamped into the frame. I have located the pop riveted plate but this is not accepted. Can anyone help please.

Come on Michael, play the PC game, there is no Southern Ireland it's  either called Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. They've also now started referring to it in these endless Brexit backstop negotiation as the island of Ireland.

Having said that, the elusive VIN number is located on the front air duct cover, the engine serial number is stamped on the left crankcase, and the frame serial number on the right hand side of the frame.
