Just Bought a Silverwing 600 to replace a Burgman650 I've ridden for the last three years. I have known a couple of locally owned examples that achieved pretty high milages (150,000 ish) without any major mechanical woes, so here's hoping this one can manage a similar feat. It's a '11 plate with 20k on the clock. Other than an annoyingly tall givi screen first impressions are pretty good.

There are a number of posts on cutting a screen down. Go to the search box (upper left) and enter "cutting screen" to find them.

It sounds like you have the Givi DT214 which I have no experience but I can say the Airflow was for me a definite improvement over the OE screen. Smile

Welcome Get the Givi AF214.  2 piece is better.  I think that's what you are getting Right. ?
Flip the levers and height is adjustable.   Brackets came with mine.  Front panel slides down after all screws removed.
