New Owner of a Honda 2003 Silverwing 600 with 19K on the clocks Cheltenham UK. recently been looking to switch from motorcycles to a scooter
did a lot of research on the Silverwing and seems the best choice for me

had it delivered yesterday and looking over various parts etc. seems the dreaded broken plastic parts is there . around the handlebars
will repair these later.  corrosion on the wheels so thinking of a respray.

then a general once over such as brake pads etc. and after reading on here check the cvt belt to see if thats been changed.

Welcome to the Forum xwelder.

Sounds like you found the search bar, for the wealth of knowledge contain within these hallowed portals, and a bit more besides.
Sounds like you found a low milage Swing, any idea how long it's been laid up/ unused, as in, if the belts original it will certainly be in need of a new belt on age alone.
I see were almost neighbours, I'm in Bristol, should you need assistance.

My Swings in dry dock for the winter while I repair Tupperware damage caused by wannabe feral gangsta scumbags who tried to nick it, but couldn't hold it upright, and fell over with it.

Look forward to reading your posts

Welcome Xwelder, I'm sure you'll enjoy the Silverwing and end up asking yourself why it took so long to try a maxiscooter 🙂
Apart from the broken fairing tabs (add lightness as Chapman used to say) these bikes are pretty much bombproof, they come from Honda's VFR750 era of quality.
If you fish around on the Web you'll find a pdf of the service manual.
