hi I'm Baz, still trying to get my head around using this forum, I live in a small village in Derbyshire, England, I own a Honda Silver wing FJS600 and I love it, I'm retied (67 ) driving since 1974, but never had a bike licence till 4yrs ago, and bought my silver wing and never looked back ( except to look for traffic ) I have no modifications on my bike, yet, but would love to put spotlights on the front, any help would be appreciated, I might add that my knowledge of anything mechanical is zero

Hi Baz and welcome to the BEST SWing site on the net. You can use the search box at the top left to search for most anything you need/want to explore. There's lots of info there plus most anybody will help out also.

Hello, Baz.
Spotlights make a great deal of difference for the better - drivers see you coming from behind.

I have a pair of Cree lights; I can't remember them being quite so expensive but they look the same so mine may be slightly lower power.
They are good!

Check Amazon uk for motorcycle led driving lamps, I fitted a pair costing about £22 and are excellent. Very noticeable in daylight, I used 2 exhaust clamps, 1 1/2" I think, clamped to the forks with the lights mounted on short length of flat steel. I protected the forks with white insulation tape. Ensure they are fitted low enough that when fully compressed the bodywork does not hit them. Don't ask me how I know this. 😂
