| I think this is what you are talking about:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Silver-Wing-Drivers-Driver-Backrest-silverwing-WIDE-back-rest-seat/254619670219?hash=item3b4883d6cb:g:HPEAAOSwiAJepKq6
I have had one like it for years. Not the exact unit but basically the same. And yes, I at 6'0" am very pleased with it. Gave me just a little more space and I only remove it to carry a passenger. |

| I had one of those. Junk in my opinion the wood split and cracked. The grain of wood was horizontal and it split maybe if in a vertical position it wouldn't have broken. Tossed it. |

What wood? Mine has a steel mount, perhaps under the vinyl? Anyway, mine has been on since 2012 with no problems. Maybe since mine was a different unit it is more sturdy or maybe I got lucky and you didn't? Who knows? |

| Just picked one up last week. I love how they say it's designed and made by "engineers". That may be so but what they really need is a good illustrator and an even better copy writer. Installation instructions remind me of assembling Chinese scooters. We coined the term "Chinglish"
I find that it lets me sit a bit farther back on the seat.

| I installed one 6 years ago and still lovin it. I am 6'2 without my boots on and if I need to give someone a ride I just slide it off and put it into my top box. I kind if remember years ago havin to deal with wood but this one is all metal. |

| I bought one that was made by 3-Brothers engineering and after studying the one sheet of instructions for a day or two figured out how to install it. THE INSTRUCTIONS SUCK! It seems to be well made and feels real nice. We’ll see. |

| I have the same one and love it. I don't secure the under the seat screws so I can slide it off when the wife wants to ride then slide back on. |

| Just came back from a ride up Los Alamos an Bandelier National Monument. The new seating arrangement with the 3-brothers back rest, was just what I needed. Really nice to have my lower lumbar supported. I also found my Air Hawk inflatable seat pad. Boy what an awesome ride! No soreness after my ride. |

| Pete, how are those AIRHAWK Cruiser R airpads? Do you just wrap the straps under the seat? > Was wondering about the seat back bracket if it could be adjusted for a more upright position? It needs and instruction sheet for the instructions.... |
