Side Stand Kill Switch Empty
PostSubject: Side Stand Kill Switch   Side Stand Kill Switch I_icon_minitimeFri Aug 07, 2020 3:51 pm

My Killswitch malfunctioned, i have ordered a replacement part. Unfortunately it won't arrive for another week and I ride my bike to work everyday, so I need it running now.
While I understand the liability issues of posting how to do this in the forum, I hope that somebody here will share with me in a private message how to bypass it temporarily. I also understand the safety issues and will be replacing the part as soon as it arrives, I'm just desperate for a temporary fix that doesn't short anything out on my bike.

Thank you all,
Crispien

The Kill switch is located on the right side handlebar switch cluster. The wire color codes for that switch are Bl/O and R/O. However if you are referring to the side stand safety switch, you can use the forum Search function to find out the procedure for that. Bypassing that safety switch has been discussed several times in the past.

Hi Cosmic,
I have searched the forums and the only direct instructions on how to do it have been (or seem to have) removed. All I am finding are arguments as to why it should not be done, all of which I agree with; but, i need to get to work tomorrow. If you know where I can find the info could you send a link.
Thanks,
Crispien
