I went with some friends on bikes yesterday for a ride to Golden Shores, AZ (Topock) and we had brunch there and then rode a ways on old Route 66. Very enjoyable ride some 90 miles for me plus 55 MPG on this tank. Great day, nice to be able to ride in January, while my poor Forza rides out the winter in northern Nevada. Sorry no pictures this time, will try and do better

It's alright for some, all I've got is snow up here, even the sheep are wearing wellies! Not that I'm jealous. Not much anyway Although to be honest even if I could, I most likely wouldn't until we get over the current Covid crisis. I wouldn't want to give the NHS any more work. Perhaps I'll just build a snowman....

Had a couple of short rides recently and the man-hole covers were a bit slippery!...it was colder than I thought and I had to buy a long-sleeved top to wear over my T shirt while I was out. I quite like the cold sunny weather for a ride, made even more enjoyable during lock-down...very little traffic

Huh? 3,4,5°C hardly seems T-shirt weather. Loose marbles indeed. |

3 - 5°C would be lovely, I've got -3 - 5°C to contend with which is another level of icicle. I expect someone from the Arctic is going to chip in with 'it was only -20°C so I put on pair of woolly socks'

Boy what a difference a day makes! Yesterday (Friday) was absolutely beautiful day. Mid 50’s and blue skies everywhere. A great day for a ride. Today, overcast and cold low in teens and high just above freezing. But no fear! New Mexico is like that, in a couple of days will be able to take the Silverwing out for a ride again!
