| Checking my records, my front tire is 6 years old and has over 10K on it. It is not worn out but I have a trip scheduled for early May and want to be ready! I know the different tires available, but I happen to like the IRC OEM units. Handling is OK and they wear extremely well. Check out the price at Revzilla:

Hard to beat and since I am getting fork seals replaced, tire can go on at the same time! Not sure if they ship to the UK but for those in the US... |

| Glenn, Have you tried Shinko front tire? I've installed two front Shinkos on two different Swings with Michelin City Grips in back and found the Shinkos wear very well after 2,000 miles. From the looks of them I would get at least 10,000-12,000 miles. |

| Yes I have used Shinko tires with no problems. But for the Wing the OEM pricing on the IRC is hard to beat! Plus they wear like iron; Shinkos did not. |

| First,, matched pairs always work better!! Over the years I have had good luck with IRC both on motorcycle and scooter----Shinko was Yokohama MC but made in Thailand now I think. For me with over 90,000 miles experience with 2 new SilverWings I found Michelin Power Pure SC worked best---they wore round and lasted long time for me. They did well on Burgman 400, too---returning from AK got over 11,000 miles on rear....maybe because I had to. Bike dealers along the way usually do not stock scooter tires in my experience. |

Glen, Have you priced IRC tires from the Honda dealer? Dealer price was a lot less than online. The shipping to Hawaii made the dealer my choice. But they wanted $50/tire for installation. Mounted them myself. Use RideOn in both tires (thanks JohnG). |

But no dealer near my location so I ordered this one and will have it installed by the shop that replaces my fork seals. |
