When on the center-stand, where is a good lift point to get the front wheel off the ground for removal? On a Gold Wing you can fit a scissors-jack under the expose engine but on the SWING all I see under there is plastic. I want to remove the front wheel for a tire replacement. Thanks in advance. So far everyone has been very helpful with my newbie questions. I appreciate everyone being so helpful.

Slide a 1 x 4 across under the body. Say directly below the fuel fill and behind the radiator. Then use the scissors jack to lift. While it looks to be all plastic there is actually a sub frame between the skirts so the 1 x 4 will distribute the weight.

You'll see 4 dimples about 3/4 back on lower plastic aft of louvers, center jack there with piece of wood, foam, etc. I use a scissor jack, no real structure above front louvers area.

| I used a scissor jack under the tubular frame cross member at the rear of the plastic piece in the image above. It does seem like a long way back but the Swing carries most of its weight to the rear so it provides a strong and stable point.

The front sub-frame is the way to go, but don't forget the piece of wood as the sub-frame runs each side not across the middle. It also develops surface corrosion over the years so next time you're in there give it a coat paint.
