| Any advice about drive belt replacement. The official shop manual tells you to use a special "universal holder" to remove the drive pulley face. Anybody got a workaround?

| Use an OEM Honda belt. Cheap Chinese ones just don't last. Also use the search function on here to look for instructions on how to make a variator tool to help you with the job. Good luck. |

| https://www.silverwing600.com/t11742-diy-variator-holding-tool?highlight=DIY+Variator+toolYou can use an impact gun or air ratchet to remove the variator belt but do not use such a tool to replace the bolt. Use the above tool and a proper torque wrench to install the bolt. Using an air ratchet or impact gun may well cause the variator pulley to be installed cockeyed or end up pinching the belt in the variator. Also, the belt gets mounted with the arrows facing the direction of rotation. |

| This is my homemade/DIY variator and clutch holder tool, I've had this for a long time, it's adjustable, bolts length/size can be changed and/or rearranged for differents scooters, etc. Just to give an idea. |
