North Carolina / Virginia meetup & ride

Sid,  I live 70 miles south of Meadows of Dan, Va. and ride there often.  White Top Mountain north of Galax is one of our favorite Sunday rides.  Our group meets every Wednesday morning at McDonald's in Kernersville,N C and quite often ride to The Blue Ridge Parkway.   Perhaps, we could meet you at Meadows of Dan or Fancy Gap for a meet up.

WOW! I live in Kernersville, NC and have a cabin in Fancy Gap, Virginia. My Swing is in Fancy Gap and Our cabin is only one mile off the Parkway, would love to hook up with your group. I’m 33 miles west of Meadows of Dan, let’s make it happen! I’m still in rehab but I’m getting stronger and have made two rides since I was released from the hospital in September. Thank you for throwing this out there.
What McDonalds do y’all meet at, Main Street or the new one on Union Cross, my house in Kernersville is just a mile from the new one on Union Cross.

My daughter lives about 40 miles outside of Asheville in a town called Nebo, which we’ve visited on several occasions. It’s in beautiful hill country with a huge lake. They also some really great barbecue restaurants that have excellent ribs on the menu. Thanks for the info about my head shake problem. My tires were replaced last September but I haven’t gotten around greasing and torquing my head bearings but I plan to do it as well as changing my fork oil. Hopefully that helps.

Sid, we meet every Wednesday at McDonalds. Highway 66 and Interstate 40. Kernersville, North Carolina. Kickstands up at 8:00. Our first stop is for breakfast, after that. Who knows?

WOW, cool to hear from riders from my old riding areas, did a 23 years stint working/living in NC, lived in Kernersville and Belews Creek last 15yrs, some of the best roads/scenery I've have experienced, my
after work stress relief theraphy loop was riding up to "Hanging Rock", "Francisco'", etc. Did thousands of miles on those roads, The area is a twisty road motorcycle rider utopia IMO. Miss it a lot
