Missing my S/Wing

Gee, It's been about 9 years since I last posted here. Lost my 06 to a tornado back in the fall of 2018. Replaced it with a 2003 Yamaha V-Star Classic 1100 last year but it's just not a S/Wing as comfortable as it is. So maybe when the snow goes I'll hunt down another one. Guess that's why I didn't get rid of the backrest and Givi adaptor.

Steve, I bought a V-Star 1100 last year and it was not for me. Traded it for a 2015 Forza; much better match. But I still have my Silver Wing too! Good luck with the hunt.

Welcome back to the board SteveE.  Lots of SWings for sale in Ontario, even now, some in/near Ottawa and Gatineau.  Check out Kijiji.  You'll need to search on three things to cover all of the bases 1) Honda Silverwing 2) Honda Silver Wing and 3) Honda FSC600.  Keep us in the loop.

I am glad to ear that because I was gone do the same next year but not selling my Swing before trying a V-Star or Shadow... Now that I read you I will keep my Swing and not buy any of these. I also own a 1990 BMW R100GSPD Paris Dakar for more then 21 years. I will probably sell it next spring and keep on Swinging .....

Look for a SWing in Quebec, as I can see price are lower here... If you want to email me I can check for you a tell you If I see a good deal...
