Yesterday got my black 2002 Silverwing with about 20k miles on it, paid about 2k in usd. Pretty standard, no mods, as much as I can see. Waiting for wx to improve to start my journeys. Previously rode 125 Burgman which was plenty enough for city but it felt like I was torturing it when full throttling on a highway. Anyways, planning to use the SW for daily commute like I was using the Burg.
Was a little disappointed to learn that my fullface hybrid helmet does not fit under the seat, well, by an inch or so but still sad. Will have to look for a new helmet obviously.

Hello. Thank you for your nice introduction. Welcome to the forum.

Yeah, even as large as the underseat storage is some full face helmets just wont fit. Many folks here have added a top case to accommodate their helmet as well as other items.

Welcome aboard jmskydancer to the BEST SWing forum on the net. Thanks for the nice intro. Lots of people here ready and willing to help and also the "Search" box at the top left is your friend too.

Another thing I just thought of...
You could cut your helmet down the middle from front to back and put a little hinge on it so you can fold it open and flat. It should fit under the seat then. I don't suppose it would be any good as a helmet anymore but at least it would fit under the seat. I'm using my Pollack Logic here so do with it what you will... LOL
