316 Miles? Well it's been sitting somewhere. That could potentially be as bad as a lot of miles. But I would take that over the rough miles mine had on it any day. Welcome.

Potentially, yes. But it starts as quickly and smoothly as my brand new Fury ever did. Idles smooth, runs great. I am of course running fuel system cleaner through it, changed the oil, and got new tires. If there is anything else I should do because of time, not miles, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Oh yeah, new battery before they sold it.

Very nice looking SWing. I might suggest checking the drive belt to see what that looks like unless it's been changed recently.

It has never been changed, but I am planning to order a Gboost belt for it next payday!

Welcome! As you can see I have a 2012 purchased new and I still love it. Lots of good info on this forum! Honda called it a "touring scooter" and I have used it in that way, works great for one-up touring.

| Welcome aboard the board lhatcher501! What a great, low mileage find. The SWings are a typical Honda ... pretty much bullet proof with proper attention. Like MUCH - guy wrote, maybe the brake fluid sooner than later and the coolant ... later, and you should be good to go.
Mehtinks you've got the bases covered regarding catch-up maintenance. Get familiar with the search function .... tons of information on this site at your disposal. |

Sounds like a nice ride. Normal maintenance it should be fine. Take a good flashlight and inspect fuel tank for rust if it's good don't worry. Ride On.

Nice. Tires and drive belt just because they are rubber, and rubber doesn't age well. Likewise all fluids. Got my drice belt on Amazon. Delivered today. Might want to swap out the fork oil. There is a guide around here somewhere. Stock headlights are inadequate for my old eyes so mine looks like a UFO now. After about 15 k, you may want to consider Dr. Pully sliders. Cheap and easy upgrade. Just be careful dismantling plastic (fondly known as Tupperware). It's NOTHING like Tupperware and it breaks, cracks easily if you don't know the pitfalls. A service manual is your friend. PM if you want a generic one.

I love the new old swing so much that I got a new old PCX for the girlfriend. It's a 2011 with new tires, battery, oil a Givi top box, and only 3216 miles. Loving the Honda additions to the fleet. Goodness, I have too many vehicles.
