first Silverwing

Hi Folks
New to the forum with a new-to-me 2006 Silverwing ABS. I've been wanting to get onto two wheels for a long time, but family and schedules provided other priorities. Now I have an opportunity for using the Swing for commuting and so far, so good! It's a short riding season up here (May-October, depending on your tolerance), so trying to take advantage of every day. There is lots of knowledge on the forum and I'm looking forward to learning more about mods and maintenance, and contributing where I can.

Congrats on your SWing and hope you enjoy it. Post some pics sometime of your rides you do if you get a chance. My sister and her family live up in Edmonton and really enjoy it. I need to get up there one day. Welcome to the site and congrats on your SWing.

tonyo welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the web. The Silverwing is in my opinion the perfect scooter. It's a rather large scooter to learn on but quite doable.
If you are looking forward to learning and plan on doing your own maintenance you'll find you can do anything you need or want with the service manual and help from this forum.
I add the paragraph below for most new members because there's a lot of information in the links and may save you some work.
