Led turn signals on mirrors

Just wanted to say that the Vectra Light, break,turn and running lights are fantastic! It took only about 1 hr to install and worth spending a little more for my safety. I don't know if I would have ever found them if it were not for this honda forum.

I have been looking for the mirrors with the turn signal light. Can you give more detail on where to purchase them?

I am not looking for an add on light. I want a mirror with the built in signal in the back of the mirror.

No, I am looking for the mirrors with the "light lens" on the back of the mirror so on coming traffic can see your turn signals.

Have you taken look on EBay. I just looked and they list a bunch of turn signal lighted mirrors there.

Went through 464 mirrors but not what I am looking for. I just know someone in Canada had a pair showing here a bout three weeks ago but did not have the time to search them then and when I came back to them I could not find them again.

Dennis B - I had Muth mirrors on my GL1800 Goldwing - nice (but expensive) farkel bought for the safety factor to let cagers next to or behind me be aware of lane changes or impending turns.

I had a look, you'll get an even better view of your shoulders with these. The overall length of the LED mirrors is 10.75", the OE Silver Wing mirrors are 2" longer at 12.75".

Goodness Dennis! I knew they had to be somewhere. They were shown on this Forum a few weeks ago but I could not find them to save my "gizzard."

I ordered the mirrors so will see how they do when they get here. I do have extensions I made and could make new ones if I need to. I think from the looks of them they will be very sufficient. Hopefully I can put the L.E.D light on the front as well. Will see!

Yes, I have them on and like them better than the stock mirrors. And NO I don't get a better view of my shoulders. They are much better so don't hesitate to put them on your Swing. I thing they are well worth it!

Hello, Dave R, just to double check to make sure I have the right mirrors in mind are they from a US company called turner x factory. they have them for $47-90 each one, is that right?

Have been looking at the Muth Mirrors and yes thay are expensive but very nice!

Apart from being another unnecessary farkle to tart up the Swing, what advantage do these things have over the stock mirrors and indicators/turn signals?

The mirrors are on e-bay and if you look at the ucwinters post above out of Universal Tx.

I like those honda dominator mirrors, but if I were to get them, I'd probably wire in a small red LED on the black space between the ball joint of the mirror arm and the glass itself.

Nothing fancy, just an extra something more at eye level that reminds me the blinker is on.

There may be no practical advantage at all.
All these farkles may just bring a Swing owner a sense of individuality and uniqueness.

I'd say it's more to do with the majority of us being a bunch of old boys with a bit of money to spend on toys.

I have had the mirrors on now for a month or so and like them better than the stock mirrors. The turn signals built into the mirrors are pretty nice and not hard to install. They seem to sit just enough different than the stock ones you do not see your shoulders. I am a pretty big person too.

I purchased the Vectra lights a few years ago and for a about one and a half years, things were fine, then the lights started going out. Not happy with the price I paid or the longevity of them.
So for my birthday I bought from www.CustomDynamics.com the TruFlex 30 LED in yellow (3 in. long ) and installed them on the lower corners of my Givi windshield. At night you can see my arm light up when I turn on my signal and in the day time I see it easier than the original blinker so it reminds me to turn the signal off. They come in different sizes and colors and if a car were to pass, they would be able to see the turn signal blinking until they pass you. 180 deg view and bright.
And they were only $59.90

I know this is an old post. But think I have found the same mirrors.

Did you just wire the signal light in paralell with the exist turn signal light?

In other words. Wire across the existing signal light?

I did the same thing, I bought a set on Ebay and just wired them into the turn signals. They work great and are a nice added safety feature in my opinion.
