| Anyone know torque figures for the two 14mm bolts which hold on the ‘end of the swing arm’? Removed rear wheel, now trying to put back together. Thanks |

| I don't know what possessed you to add your post to a 10+ year old topic about removing the front wheel and expect someone to notice it there. So I relocated your post to a more suitable topic.
Now what 14mm bolts are you referring to?

| I think the "end" you are referring to is called the "Final Shaft Holder" in the Factory Service Manual (FSM). It bolts into the "Right Swingarm" with 2-14 mm bolts.
In the FSM. there is no specific value listed for these two bolts on the rear wheel/swingarm picture page 15-4.
However, at the beginning of Chapter 15, under the Service Information section - Torque Values, it lists 36 lb. ft. as the torque value for the final shaft holder bolt which corresponds to the picture found on page 15-4 in my 2009 FSM.
For what it is worth, I just replaced my rear tire after 16,000km/10,000 mi. and this is the torque value I used along with a little blue Loctite. Everything seems to be in order ride wise.
I hope this helps. |

| A diagram may help visualize things , personally I believe the Honda torque values for the "Swingarm" fasteners in general are a little high and do not offer a "range" +/-, if you factor a 5-10% variance possible by the tool itself and or operator, etc., you can potentially overstress the bolts, there is no perfect torque wrench !!, In any case I reduce my torque setting by 5%, well whiting acceptable standards. BTW, regular torque wrench calibration check/adjustment is a must, the DIY procedure is easy, google it. |

Chapter 15, page 12 might be what you’re looking for. Interesting that in the above 2002-2005 FSM version, torque values are listed on the same page as the diagram. In my 2009 version, no torque values listed beside the diagram. I like the '02-'05 FSM approach better as it saves you from hopping around the manual trying to find the right information. |

| Don't torque that half swingarm until after the rear wheel is installed and axle nut lightly tightened along with the shock bolted up. Has some play in holes and everything needs to align properly. |
