| Hope you enjoy the holiday picture. It is a bit big but it will only be up a few days! Couldn't find any Silver Wing specific Christmas pix... |

| Not a fan of Trad scooters myself, and that includes the couple of 2-stroke Vespa's my Dad owned when I was a lad.
I had the chance of visiting the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera near Pisa in Tuscany a couple of years ago. Mrs M thought I might like to go as we we were nearby and I tdeclined through lack of interest.
Vespa's of all ages are parked up on every street and ridden everywhere by riders of all ages with a very Italian style and panache that's missing in the UK.
Over here it's a load of old blokes dressed up like 1960"s Mods, cluttering up garden centre car parks, revving the guts out of old Lambretta’s and Vespa’s and leaving clouds of blue smoke before they move off in a slow moving procession to hold up main road traffic on their way to clutter up a car park somewhere else.
In their favour Trad scooter clubs do seem to have a more active social scene that bikers here in Yorkshire, The last time I took an overnight ferry from Zeebrugge to Hull, dozens of them turned up for the same crossing. It wouldn’t have been so bad if they'd parked up and switched of their engines and waited until we embarked.
Of course they didn’t, it was the same cacophony of noise and smoke. The next morning in Hull with the UK Border Service checking everyone slowly and thoroughly they were at it again.
