| Hi,has anyone fitted a quick action throttle like the HRC or R6 tube? I have QAT's on my road and race bikes,so just wondering if anyone has fitted 1 to their Silverwing? T.I.A

| It's 50 HP bike and CVT trans not much to gain with faster throttle action. If you have a lot of play in cables just adjust them at grip end. |

| Less movement to WOT. Quicker time to WOT. Easier on the wrist.
Ive a spare HRC throttle kit here, off my CBR race bike,so I might fook around with the Silverwing throttle, over the weekend.
Was just curious to know if anyone had done it yet. |

| As mentioned above there may not be much to gain using this on a aSW but I'd be interested to know how you get on. |

Ive also got an R6 throttle tube here, off the R1 race bike. I'll have a fook around with it over the weekend. Ive also got another idea in my head, for the Silverwing handlebars, and bar space. |

| Hi Japcati.
I for one would like to know the outcome of your research purely from a medical point of view.
With the onset of old age comes certain restriction to joints, one of mine being "I can't crank it like I used too" having to roll the throttle the last bit with my fingers due to Arthritic restrictions or the wrist, which causes me cramps on long journeys on our crowded roads It's not always about speed, sometimes it's about comfort! Look forward to reading your review on practicality.
Be safe, be seen! |
