I can never understand the reluctance to use main dealerships, I bought my Silver Wing new from a Honda dealership in West Yorkshire. When the belt needed changing I used York Suzuki only a couple of miles from my home and totally trustworthy. They ordered in the OE Honda belt and arranged a fitting time in the workshop after it arrived, the belt change done by experienced and qualified techies with all the skills and tools to do the job quickly.

I dropped the scooter off, wandered into York for a bacon sarnie and a coffee, and leisurely walked back later when I got the call it was ready. I don't remember it being excessively expensive either.

Two posts in a day, I'm off for a lie down in a darkened room.

I got my last one from Wemoto, they are excellent to deal with and do a quick delivery.
I've had a JT kevlar one fitted for nearly 16,000 miles and had no issues and have just ordered another one, they do the oe honda belts too.

I'm suspicious of belts marketed as having Kevlar in, a 'special' feature.
I have always been led to believe that the official OEM belts have Kevlar in because that's how belts are made.

OEM for me.

I have JT kevlar drive belts on my Honda Silverwing and my Burgman 400.
Both replaced at the time of purchase, 2yrs for the Burgman. 1 year for the Silverwing, and going strong.
Just over 5k on the Burgman and 1.5k on the Silverwing, I do tend to ride aggressively, no signs of wear or excessive dusting on either last time I looked.
Hope this helps.

Be safe, be seen! Hi-vis and LED's are your friends.

You're sort of right. Most belts for large displacement scooters have Aramid fiber, which is generic kevlar. To use genuine Kevlar, it has to be bought and used under license from DuPont, and if you don't do that, you're not allowed to say it has Kevlar.  Some of the cheap belts on Amazon have the word Kevlar on them, use polyester instead of Kevlar, and hopefully last at least a mile for every dollar you spend.
JT Sprockets KV belts use generic Aramid fibers, and they are made in Thailand. Bando makes OEM belts for Honda in Thailand and Japan. Bando also makes Malossi and Polini belts in Japan. Mitsuboshi makes some belts for Malossi as well. Malossi uses DuPont Kevlar. Polini opts for Aramid fibers. I use Malossi belts in my Silver Wing and they last.
There are also a lot of belts on Amazon and Ebay that say they are Bando belts, that Bando didn't make, and they will likewise hopefully last a mile for every dollar you spend.
Mitsuboshi is the other big OEM belt manufacturer. They make them in Japan, China, and other countries. They make a belt for the Silver wing, but you don't see it much in the US. To me, the neat thing about Mitsuboshi belts, much like Nippon Denso spark plugs, is that they aren't names that have really caught on with the counterfeiters. So there aren't as many $1 Nippon Denso spark plugs or $15 Mitsuboshi belts out there on Amazon and Ebay.
When you get down to the 150-250cc range, most OEM belts use polyester fibers. In this case, if you are making a performance bike, like the 94cc two strokes that make 30 horsepower, Kevlar might not be a bad idea.
If you don't see DuPont licensing language and Kevlar with a tm after it on the packaging, you're not getting Kevlar.

In much the same way that vacuum-cleaners are most often called 'hoovers' even when they aren't and 'hook-and-loop' fastenings, 'velcro' Wink
