| Subject: Multiple Quote Button is activated !!! Tue Apr 13, 2010 11:28 pm | |
| Hi, I activated the "Multiple Quote Button" just now. I didn't even know we had this capability but I decided to play around some more and found it. I'm not too sure if it will be helpful but here it is. If someone really knows about this feature please explain it...if you get a chance. I'm computer literate but I do know there are many members here that know more than I do about these type of forums. Hope it helps. |

- Test for "Multi-quote"
It works!!! You hit the " Multi-Quote" button for each post you want to copy ... the button will then turn red. Then hit " Post reply" at the top not "Quote" in the post ... and voila. |

| Does that mean we're going to have the previous ten posts quoted every time someone wants to make one comment?
I just copy, paste, use italics and quotation marks for the portion on which I wish to comment or reply. It's not difficult and saves so much time rather than having to play 'Hunt the New Bit' in every post that's quoted every preceding post in the thread.
A Spell-Checker would be very useful. [Edited for typing-error.]

Mike... when I misspell a word, it is underlined with a red line of dots. If you don't have that, it must be a windows setting that you have not turned on or something. I don't know for sure where this comes from. I will look and see then let you kinow. I purposely misspelled the word know just now and it did the underline thing. I am checking now. |

Typically there is a limitation in the number of quotes in post. I do not know what the limit is for this forum or forum software. |
