Dr Pulley HiT Clutch: V-3 vs V-4 Empty
PostSubject: Dr Pulley HiT Clutch: V-3 vs V-4   Dr Pulley HiT Clutch: V-3 vs V-4 I_icon_minitimeThu Jul 15, 2010 11:23 am

The most obvious difference between the V-3 clutch and the new V-4 clutch is that the V-4 has 4 clutch shoes (wear pads), while the V-3 clutch has, you guessed it, three clutch shoes.

Functionally the two operate the same in that they are designed to lock up at a certain RPM. The new V-4 clutch has more clutch pad surface area, and given that it has more clutch shoes, push pins and springs it also seems to allow more fine tuning adjustment.

So the new HIT ( http://www.buggypartsnw.com/home?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=418&category_id=30 ) is available here.
