| Someone on this site or the other posted a location for MIRROR EXTENSIONS. I ordered them and they came by mail from HONG KONG!!! They are GREAT! and one of the best additions I have found (inexpensive also). They took only 5 minutes to install, look professional, and allow full turn-to-turn handlebar movement without touching the Givi Windshield. I hope someone can find the site and post it....thanks and you will really like these. billc. |

On EBay search for "10mm Mirror Riser honda silverwing" open each item and ensure it says "(2) Stainless Bolts & Washers". Here is a currently active link ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-10mm- Mirror-Riser-Extender-Adapter-Honda-Silverwing-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3a5a53c575QQitemZ250623542645QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories ). If it does not say stainless steel ... then you should assume the bolts and washers are nickle plated. I had a mirror riser without stainless steel bolts and washers ... the bolts quickly rusted which I had to replace with stainless steel ones. |

MC Motoparts ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/10mm- Mirror-Riser-Extender-Adapter-Silverwing-600-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3f010c7d08QQitemZ270600535304QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories ) does not list the bolts or washers as stainless steel. I checked my receipts, my first riser came from moto.parts@yahoo.com.hk which rusted quickly. |

| Hi Bill, If your 10mm screws start to rust, just replace them with stainless steel ones. |

| Hi Bill, If you fell like finishing the great look, try these chrome plated plugs. These are 5/16" but should fit the 8mm socket head hole just fine. Or you might be able to get them from any bike shop or ACE hardware. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/10-Chrome-Steel-End-Plugs-Allen-Head-Bolts-5-16-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4cee8901caQQitemZ330419470794QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories |

| Dennis, That would be a perfect finish to this job. I will have to order these. Again, I want to say the extensions are one of the best additions to the Swing for the price of any I have added. Not to mention the SAFTEY factor of better rear vision. billc. |

| I bought those same ones and I really like them. The thing that gets me is that they are shipped from Fremont, Ca and I had to pay $7.00 shipping, and I live in Fremont, California. Go figure. But they work great. |

Ah.... mirror extensions, grip puppies, and an Airflow. Great minds think alike. What's on top of your rear brake reservoir? A garage door opener? |

| 1.) GenMar 1” / 75mm bar risers…..The key is recessed in to the 1” sleeve I made from 11/2” id polyduct that fits around the ignition escutcheon and held in place by the plastic bar cover. I also had to reroute the throttle cables to gain slack for the right handlebar sub cover to fit.

2.) Leg deflector set (Bulge in the front faring just below the dash cubbies)

| On closer look I see them both. That ignition switch mod is slick. As they say in an old movie, "What Lies Beneath"? |

| I bought these & tried for awhile but am not satisfied with them. Still too much head turning to check the mirrors. Have ordered some extended shank bolt-ons and plan on trying them on the fairing below the shield sill.. Just an idea... |

| Although this thread goes back to July, this very new Silver Wing rider appreciates the information as though it was posted yesterday. Couldn't quite understand why someone would have a SWing with the mirrors touching the aftermarket Givi windscreen at full turn. Although I got used to it somewhat, having the mirrors touch the windscreen in a busy parking lot environment was a momentary distraction. Problem solved -- my mirror extensions are now installed. This took only a few minutes, and the improved view rearward is very welcome as well. |

| I just bought a pair off Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/10mm-Motorcycle-Mirror-Riser-Extender/dp/B003VBW80U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1287367900&sr=8-2 When you add in shipping, these are a few dollars cheaper than the e-Bay set. However, I don't think the hardware that came with mine is stainless steel (the stuff I got is magnetic), which wasn't a concern for me since I painted the hardware with black Rustoleum before installing.
Makes the view much better, and I can check behind me more quickly now. |

| I got the Amazon ones as well, I installed them tonight. They look great, and it's nice having the big mirrors again.
I just noticed the S Wing in the picture above doesn't have mirrors. Not street legal! |
