| I can't seem to find a way to log in without hitting the post a new topic button. I don't accept cookies, so I don't believe I can use the auto log in feature. Is there a log in link somewhere? Thanks --Scott |

| Scott,
I will look into this. This is the first I've heard of this problem so I will have to see or ask the group that runs the platform for sites like this. Something doesn't seem right if you have to hit the "Post a new topic" button. Thanks. |

| Scott, Sometimes when I am not logged in, I just press the "ON" button. It is the very last button on the menu across the top: Forum, Calendar, Album FAQ, Search, Members, Groups, Profile, PM, On. This button is easier to access then the one you are using. Let us know if this works. :D |

| Thanks Dennis, I had't noticed the On button. I guess it is always an Off button for me. I suppose that is because I must have cookies turned on and it logs me on automatically. My connection is like the Swing, I just click on the site and press the gas.
Scott, Is there some reason you don't use the cookie for this site? You can turn cookies on for this site only.
Gary

| Scott,
I was trying to find a way that you could just log in but you will have to do what Dennis said... hit the "On" button at the top. I didn't realize until it was too late that you were going down to the bottom to log in.
And as Gary said, maybe you can turn your cookies on for this site only. Sorry I can't be of more help. |

| i can no longer log in using my iPad since I cleared the cookies a few days ago, all I get is the compact mobile/cell phone page. I can't get Home, Log in, or Classic version and if I try all I get is a blank page with You can return to the index...
Anyone else had this problem?

| OK, usually I get the basic forum page after I've cleared the cookies, then I get the Classic version and then log on. But this hasn't been happening and I was just going round in circles. So I pressed Open on a pop up on one of the options that occasionally comes up and I got the basic log on page and logged on, and it worked.
I sent the previous post on my iMac and after using the touchscreen keyboard on the iPad for nearly 2 years now, the conventional desktop keyboard is hard work!
...and I've just cleared the cookies on my iPad again and got back here in a few seconds, so I'm still none the wiser what the problem was. |

| I blame the 'three day week' and men going to the moon!
Especially the going to the moon. No good can come from it ... except Teflon and biros that work upside down!

Yup. On my iPad I use private browsing so cookies have ever been accepted and it had not been an issue. Typically, the site would come up with the mobile version. I would then click on the link to go to the 'Classic' version and all was well. Now I get the aforementioned 'return to index' and nothing else. As a temporary solution I have been using the iPad 'Mercury' browser app just to get to silverwing600. it is available from the App store. In it's settings it allows masking itself as a desktop browser. But there is something amiss in the website itself. |
